Speaker A:ou a big thank you for making:Speaker A:As far as having the biggest amount of listeners out there, viewers on our YouTube channel, all those different things, I appreciate every single one of you for being a part of this journey.
Speaker A:And we are just getting started.
Speaker A:We've got some great stuff coming up this next year and it's going to be even better.
Speaker A:Now as we know, this year for me was boy, a lot of it outside of the show was an absolute dumpster fire for the first part of the year and after at my house sold, it just absolutely changed around.
Speaker A:And life is funny like that when you can look back and say, wow, I had no idea that it was going to end this good.
Speaker A:And so I had positivity today for sure.
Speaker A:Thankfulness for everyone in my life right now on the holidays.
Speaker A:It has been absolutely great.
Speaker A:I will be maybe doing a midweek update next week.
Speaker A:If you don't hear it, don't be surprised.
Speaker A:Only because I'm going to be heading out of town, heading to Southern California for a few days, see some friends and hang out down there and take a little bit of time off and that way I could be spending time down there and a little sunshine.
Speaker A:We've been way rainy up here and it's nice to get away and get a little sun because my next opportunity will be down in Orlando, Florida for the Kitchen of Bath Industry show, which I'll be covering down there.
Speaker A:We've got some great events and things like that we'll be doing down there.
Speaker A:So very excited for that.
Speaker A:It's really going to be a lot of fun.
Speaker A:Can't wait.
Speaker A:But on this Christmas Eve, I just wanted to give a quick message to you guys out there that have been tuning in the show.
Speaker A:Let's see if we can do something a little different this year.
Speaker A:Let's see if we can put up with the family.
Speaker A:Let's see if we can spend a little time and maybe not get into that big political discussion that tears everything apart.
Speaker A:Let's see if we can just put that aside for a couple days.
Speaker A:Because as I always say, that's not the time to be hammering those things out over the dinner table or around the Christmas tree.
Speaker A:Let's just be thankful that those people in our lives and even if they don't believe what you believe.
Speaker A:I got that.
Speaker A:So that's the thing.
Speaker A:So let's.
Speaker A:Let's see if we can put the battle swords down a little bit and spend some time over the holidays and treat it for what it is for everyone.
Speaker A:The Christmas season for many people is one thing, for others it's another thing.
Speaker A:And this whole holidays is a time that no matter what religion you are, is really about spending time with family and enjoying it.
Speaker A:So let's see if we can work on that a little bit more and put the battle swords down a little bit and see what we can talk about that's bringing us together instead of leaving both sides to tear us apart.
Speaker A:And that's the thing.
Speaker A:Maybe you'll be thankful if you can do it.
Speaker A:Family's not always around forever, especially when you're talking parents, aunts and uncles that are older than you all of a sudden you had no idea this could be the last one and that'll always happen that way.
Speaker A:So let's see if we can make sure and enjoy that time with them while we got it and see if you can agree to disagree and move on to anything like that.
Speaker A:There's not a lot on the product safety recalls that I'm seeing out there.
Speaker A:Not a lot of stuff.
Speaker A:Your typical dressers and drawers and that kind of stuff and child stuff.
Speaker A:So really if you've got a kid or an infant, taking a look over there@the CPSC.gov is a good one.
Speaker A:Things that I see though that are some serious issues.
Speaker A:Not a big one right now, but Blue Wave recalls their above ground pools due to a drowning hazard.
Speaker A:The compression strap that surrounds the outside of the pool legs may create a foothold allowing a child access to the pool.
Speaker A:So that's not good.
Speaker A:About 13,400.
Speaker A:But it's not like many people are jumping in that this time of year.
Speaker A:And another one is Serene Life.
Speaker A:Obviously the same people that are making that with the same issue, they only sold about 80 of those things.
Speaker A:So that was not a big top seller for them.
Speaker A:So that's a big one right there.
Speaker A:And there are some Amazon power strips that look like they sold about 11,200 of them.
Speaker A:They don't have any kind of an override system, so it could be a fire hazard there.
Speaker A:That's a big one.
Speaker A:And then Curry & Co.
Speaker A:Recalls Electra chandeliers due to impact injury hazard.
Speaker A:So those could come out.
Speaker A:So that's not a big one.
Speaker A:Only 260 across the world on that one.
Speaker A:So it's not really a big one to go with.
Speaker A:And then there's some electric bikes and things like that, that ATVs, lots of kitchen, kitchenware stuff.
Speaker A:The usual suspects, as they say, with things not working, things not breaking, not working.
Speaker A:Shrek recalls electric bicycles due to a fall or crash hazard.
Speaker A:So we got things like that out there.
Speaker A:So be careful.

Speaker A:Guys, this weekend on the show, we are doing a best of show.
